Hindi is a language spoken in many parts of India and one of the official languages of that country. This free program is a Hindi-English-Hindi dictionary. You can search how a Hindi word is written in English by typing it in the Search window, and the answer will appear on the right side of the interface. If you don't have a Hindi keyboard in your system, the program offers an onscreen keyboard to make things easier. It is also possible to do the opposite, that is, to search English words and their Hindi equivalents. The program works well and fast.

Interestingly, the program can be updated by adding new words and their corresponding Hindi or English equivalences. To do so, you only need to click on the "+" button or choose the corresponding option on the Word menu, and write the word you want to add and its English equivalence. You can use the program's onscreen keyboard to perform this task. Also, you can modify any of the existing words. You only need to double click on the word you want to change, and modify its writing or its English equivalent.

The new version has a lot of new words and the search function works faster. It also has several new enhancements.

In sum, this is a very useful program for those interested in Hindi, and in learning languages in general. And one of its best characteristics is that it is absolutely free.

Hello,

There are many advantages of your dictionary. Excellent work. I would just like to remind you that I searched for the English meaning of the word "Madhu" (honey), but I was surprised to see that a blundorous meaning "Via Media" was given. I searched for other related terms of this word and all of them were ridiculous. The meaning for the word "madhumakkhi" was given as "Centre Note". Please rectify that whole section. Thanks.
